Grape:  This wine is produced using a blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, and 1% Petite Sirah

Color:  Deep purple

Aromas: Black cherries, blackberries, blueberries, plums, pencil shavings, leather

Flavors: Cherries, cassis, dark chocolate, oak, blueberries, blackberries, licorice

Body:  Medium +

Alcohol:  14.6%

Acid:  Medium

Sweetness:  Dry

Tannins:  Medium +

Balance:  well balanced, complex with significant aromas and flavors along with smooth, silky tannins

Serving Tips:  58° F, red wine glass, decant for 1 hour

Food Pairings:  Steak, game meats, pasta with red sauce
Aging:  can age up to 20 years

Winery Notes:  Located in the Stag’s Leap district of Napa Valley, The Realm was started by two friends in 2002.  Through many years of trials and tribulations, the Realm is now a premier wine maker.
