Winery Notes:  The Ca’ dei Frati company is the cradle of history: it was in 1782 that the winery appears for the first time in a document that refers to ” a house with a cellar located in Lugana in the Sermione area known as the place of the friars “.   Lake Garda is an unusual corner of the Mediterranean nestled between the Lombardy-Veneto Prealps: a calcareous, clayey, and silty soil , combined with the wind and mild climate , contribute fundamentally to the production of Lugana DOC.
