Grape: This wine was produced using predominantly Grenache and Syrah, with a touch of Mourvèdre. This is a typical southern Rhone blend. The Syrah grape is native to the northern Rhone wine region of France while Grenache (aka Garnacha) and Mourvèdre [aka Monastrell (its traditional name in Spain) and Mataro (the term commonly used in Australia and the United States)].
