Grape: This wine is produced using 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The Cabernet Sauvignon grape, a dark-skinned grape, is native to the Bordeaux wine region of southwestern France. It is the chief grape in Bordeaux blends from the Left Bank. It is a lesser component of Bordeaux blends from the Right Bank.

Aromas: Cherry, Blueberry, Oak, Chocolate, Spice
Flavors: Dark cherry, chocolate, plum
Body: Full
Alcohol: 16%
Acid: Medium
Sweetness: Dry
Tannins: Medium +
Balance: A nice Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon but the drinker must prefer a Cabernet Sauvignon where the tannins and strong alcohol dominate the taste
Serving Tips: 60 to 65° F, red wine glass, decant 1 to 2 hours
Food Pairings: Beef, game meat, lamb, grilled steak and hamburgers
Aging: can age up to15 years
Winery Notes: This wine was produced by the Viña Concha Y Toro family of wineries in the Maule Valley wine region of Chile. Maule Valley was one of the first areas in Chile to be planted to vine, and its viticultural history stretches back to the start of colonization by the Spanish.
