Grape: The wine is produced using Arneis grapes. Arneis is a white grape. This grape has a very strong flavor and because of this intense flavor it was originally planted near Nebbiolo grapes to attract the birds away from the more important Nebbiolo grapes. It is sometimes blended with Nebbiolo to soften Nebbiolo which has given rise to the name Nebbiolo Bianco.
