Grape: The wine is produced using Nebbiolo grapes. The grape is a dark-skinned grape native to the Piemonte wine region of Italy. Nebbiolo is the basic wine of the great wines of Italy – Barolo & Barbaresco. Nebbiolo is an ancient grape and is so old that its parents are probably extinct. Young Nebbiolo wines have a deep purple color but due to unstable colorants, the color of the wine rapidly decolorizes over a short period of time.

Langhe is in the southern part of the Piemonte region. The wine making history of Langhe goes back to Roman times. The Langhe became well-known all over the world for its production of exceptional wines and the noble French families transported wine to the royal courts throughout Europe.
