Winery Notes : The Anselmann vineyard where the grapes were grown to produce this wine is from the Pfalz region of western Germany near the eastern border of France. The Pfalz is one of the warmest areas in Germany. The relatively dry, warm climate is due to the low-lying, densely forested Haardt Mountains which cast a rain shadow over the region.
